THE DRAVIC

The major antagonists of Star Trek: Phantom, the Dravic, were first seen in Story #2, "Muddy the Waters." They returned as a force to be reckoned with in Story #4, "Proteus." Time will tell if they should attempt to menace the Federation again...

This section contains graphics, information, etc. on the Dravic.

"Bipedal; six appendages, three on each side of the body; grayish pigmented skin; red, glowing eyes--no distinguishable nose or mouth; minimal clothing..."

"The ones we've seen ranged in height from seven feet to eight and a half feet. With the muscle mass afforded by their size, we've determined that its the single strongest un-altered species ever encountered by the Federation."

-- Lieutenant Commdander Shalis Ykinati, "Muddy the Waters"

"...the gill-like organs on their necks seem to allow for vocal communication. Their sight in and of itself is limited to infra-red, but the aliens we observed were wearing some kind of goggles--probably to compensate. The tentacles on the sides of the head appear to be hearing organs. Culturally, they appear to be matriarchal. We've determined that one out of four of the aliens was female, and it was the one giving orders and conducting the computer slicing. Of course, that's just speculation."

-- Ensign Samantha Einhorn, "Muddy the Waters"

"I still have yet to decipher most of the meaning of the dreams, but there was one central element that I strongly recalled--a gray-skinned, red-eyed, tall, six-armed alien, devouring a planet."

-- Thot Neeron X'Ro'Us, "Proteus"

(listed chronologically)

I've cleaned up the edges and other miscellaneous detail on the head and shoulders significantly. I also removed the "glare" from the sides of the head, as it was really hampering the effort to add the tentacles. I'm not quite sure how to proceed with the hair or gills.

IN ACTION

(listed chronologically)

The primary reason I'm keeping the hair around? The action shots. It's gonna be a real mess to lift away. I *still* haven't quite decided how to proceed with the stomach/chest area--I'm thinking of doing a double chest. Other than that, just needs to be cleaned up around the edges and have the minor details added.
